Music is used to honor special people and special moments in the wedding ceremony.
Commonly, certain pieces are selected for the Entrance of the Mothers, the Entrance of the Bridesmaids or Bridal Party, the Entrance of the Bride, and the Recessional as the bridal party exits the room upon completion of the ceremony. The bride and groom often choose to have music as well for symbolic ceremonies such as the Sand Ceremony, Unity Candle, or Communion.
Below are some popular selections for each part of the wedding. Some pieces are interchangeable, meaning that they are appropriate for multiple uses within the ceremony. To hear Grace playing samples of popular selections, click here. To hear these selections played by a harp, violin and cello trio, click here.
