Music in the News: Online Learning

This week BBC has an interesting article entitled 'Online courses: Music education for all?' that notes schools offering online music courses.  At first I was skeptical. How can you learn about music without personal interaction and feedback? However, there is clearly a demand for a better understanding of music, as hundreds of people have signed up. If offering online classes brings together a cafe full of people talking about classical music, as the article describes, it is a worthwhile endeavor!
