Summer brings with it warm weather, extra doses of delicious sunlight, and harp camps! I am very excited this year to present a workshop, master class and performance at Harp Camp Virginia at the beautiful Acorn Inn in Faber, VA. After a year of quarantines and social distancing, spending time with a community of harp enthusiasts will be a special treat.
The weeklong Harp Camp, open to 12-18 year olds, has the perfect blend of learning, social time, inspiration, and outdoor activities. Find out more and register at harpcampva.com!

Dr Grace Bauson's extraordinary presentations earlier this week at Virginia Harp Camp 2021 (held at Acorn Inn in Faber VA) were very possibly life-changing for the fortunate young harpists attending. So delighted you so generously shared your talent, enthusiasm, decades of training and practice to make such exquisite music for us!

We're all catching our breath after four days and nights at Harp Camp Virginia. A highlight of the week was Grace Bauson's wonderful workshop, "What is Music" and Masterclass. Everyone gathered for a new perspective of what our week of harping might really be about. Indeed, when she played her beautiful harp for us, everyone sat tall and the fire was lit (having been isolated for 18 months during COVID). Grace demonstrated many styles and techniques, worked with two students in a Master Class, and gave a private lesson to a young girl whom I'm sure appreciated every minute of inspiration and assistance. We can't thank you enough Dr. Bauson!
